Golden Whistler (Pachycephala pectoralis). The bird on the right looks like an
American Robin (Turdus migratorius), which one would not expect to see caged in Singapore! Perhaps it was chosen to make American tourists feel at home.
The same sign appears on the stamp with the cages.

Spanish Cinema - 3 stamps with one having a small image of what looks like
Carrion Crow (Corvus corone). Here's a large image of the stamp.
A correspondent in Spain has given me information about the link between Paco Rabal and a "crow".
In the film "Los Santos Inocentes", Francisco (Paco) Rabal plays Azarías, a mentally handicapped man, who rears a Jackdaw, affectionately known as "milana bonita". Here's a clip from the film in which the bird features prominently. The bird in the film does seem to be a
Eurasian Jackdaw (Corvus monedula), so perhaps that is the species depicted on the stamp.

Polynesian Starling (Aplonis tabuensis),

Polynesian Triller (Lalage maculosa),
Barn Owl (Tyto alba),
Buff-banded Rail (Gallirallus philippensis),
Purple Swamphen (Porphyrio porphyrio) and
Swamp Harrier (Circus approximans). Disappointingly, there are 3 incorrect scientific names, and, strangely, "Swamp Harrier" does not have a scientific name. The gravest error has presumably been caused by the designer searching for an image of the very special Niuafo'ou Scrubfowl (Megapodius pritchardii) but choosing a fine image of the completely un-related Grey-necked Wood-Rail (Aramides cajanea)! One of the photographs has a credit, as it was taken in New Zealand by Glen Fergus. The Triller was taken in Samoa, the Starling and Honeyeater in Fiji, the Harrier and Duck in Australia and the Kingfisher in Thailand. Were any of the birds photographed in Tonga?
